StewMac Pickups

Years of research and development, all to bring you the best pickups you've ever heard

PASSION FOR THE DETAILS

______________

After 50 years of working with the greatest instruments ever made, we've learned a thing or two about what makes a great pickup. But we wanted to know more! With that experience and passion, we dedicated the last two years to meticulously developing our own brand of pickups.

Tone expert Erick Coleman scoured the globe tracking down priceless P.A.F. humbuckers, 50s Strat and Tele pickups, and more. After years of examining every detail of every magnet, documenting every wind, and learning their secrets, we’re proud to present StewMac Pickups to you.

CRAFTED TO INSPIRE

______________

We went the extra mile, relentlessly prototyping every model, until we found the perfect recipe for each humbucker, single-coil, P-90, and bass pickup. Inspired by the best guitars of all time, now you can have a piece of that legacy and experience the best sounding pickups you’ve ever heard. Vintage or modern, each pickup is crafted to help you find the unique voice of your guitar.

WE BUILD THEM LIKE THEY USED TO

______________

StewMac Parsons Street pickups are the closest to true vintage tone you can get. We use period correct nickel-silver covers, plain enameled coil wire, and construction to capture the look and sound. But that’s not all! The coils are wound with a different number of turns and unpotted for the original voice.

FOR THE MODERN PLAYER

______________

Our modern design pickups build on the great tones of the past with tweaks for today’s players. With higher output, low noise designs, all you’ll hear is inspiration. With innovative wiring options you can get unlimited tones without carving up your favorite guitar.
