Japanese Fret Slot Cleaning Saw

Loosen old glue and wood chips from fret slots. Work right up to the edge of fretboard bindings!

High quality .020" alloy steel blades get into fret slots to loosen stubborn old glue and packed wood chips fast. You can work on bound fingerboards where a fret saw can't go, and also deepen the slots if needed. The convenient blade angle lets you clean right up to the edge of the bindings. Easy and efficient refret preparation! Leave fret slots gunk-free, a must for seating replacement fretwire correctly.

Lightweight 5-1/8" (130.17mm) bamboo handles.

Double-edge saw features time-saving 9/16" (14.29mm) pull-cut and 1/2" (12.70mm) push-cut teeth, for clearing both ends of the fret slot right up to the bindings. The cutting edges are angled for easy access to your work.

TIP: Our Fret Slot Depth Gauge is a great way to check your progress while cleaning fret slots.
