Herringbone Purfling

Classic Dreadnought soundboard trim.
A distinguishing feature of iconic style-28 Martin® guitars.

Classic Herringbone trim has become a signature vintage touch for acoustic guitar soundboards. The handsome Herringbone purfling we supply is laminated with black fiber and natural unstained "white" wood, in straight strips.

Approximate dimensions:
.140" x 1/16" x 32" (3.56mm x 1.59mm x 812.80mm)

Two strips are needed for a Dreadnought or smaller soundboard.

TIP: Dimensions are approximate. For proper fit, wood purflings should be measured directly before routing the channels on your instrument.
