Eagle Abrasives Sheets
Cut your sanding and buffing time in half! Assilex and Buflex abrasives cut with the speed of dry sanding but leave a super smooth finish like wet sanding. We thought they were too good to be true—until we tried them.
The beauty of this system is that as the sheets load, just a quick wipe with a towel and they are as good as new. Made by Kovax, each sheet lasts an incredibly long time, making them a worthwhile investment for your shop.
Complete finish sanding solution
This system completely revolutionizes new guitar finishing. The shallow cut makes it easy to level sand between each clear coat. The cut is so uniform you'll no longer need to chase deep scratches to level the finish before moving to the next grit. The shallow scratches polish out of topcoats incredibly fast.
The sheets are so durable you'll be able to reuse them for multiple builds. And since it's a dry system you can clearly see your progress without the hassle of water and rags slowing you down. You'll save hours sanding and get to buffing faster than ever.
Pros recommend
Start with the lower grits of Assilex to sand and level the finish between coats, and to blend between touch-ups and existing finishes. Then follow up with the higher grits of Buflex to final sand and level before buffing. We keep extra sheets in our shop so we're always ready for the next job. For smaller touch-ups we use the Kovax Tolecut Finish Repair System.
Get the Starter Kit
To get the most out of these abrasives we recommend getting the Starter Kits. The Assilex Starter Kit and Buflex Starter Kits include custom self-stick pads and foam blocks so you're ready to sand right out of the box. The Starter Kits have all the grits you need for several new builds.
Not just for finishes! These abrassives gives an incredible shine to nuts and frets too.
