StewMac Short Vibrola for Gibson®

If you spend a lot of time in guitar shops, you've probably seen this: A vintage Gibson with 3 empty screw holes behind the bridge. Look at mid-to-late 60s SG Juniors and Melody Makers for sale online and you'll see the same. The original vibrato tailpieces were often removed from these guitars in favor of the tuning stability of wraptail bridges. Most were tossed in a junk drawer or simply thrown out. If you own one of these guitars, you know that sourcing 60s parts that are in decent condition can be risky and expensive.

Now you can restore your vintage Gibson to its original configuration using our StewMac Vibrola. It has the same footprint as the original part and installs without modification.

This vibrato isn't limited to restoration purposes, it would also make a cool addition to retro-inspired new builds.
