The bridge is the heart of an archtop, and few match the beauty of Bob Benedetto's design. The elegant curves and innovative shape are the perfect pairing of form and function. The single, unbroken curve of the saddle allows for a wide range of string spacings, and the simple design allows for excellent transfer of vibration and tone.
Each bridge is beautifully sanded, buffed, and ready for final fitting to your top. The saddle is unnotched for your custom string spacing. We recommend the Benedetto Archtop Guitar Bridge String Marker for laying out the spacing quickly and accurately.
- Saddle radius: 15" (381mm), ideal for a 12" radius fingerboard
- Maximum string spread: 2-3/8" (60.32mm)
- Center height adjustable from 15/16" to 1-1/8" (23.8mm to 28.5mm)
The 15" (381mm) saddle radius factors in the string diameters and is a perfect mate with a 12" fingerboard radius.
The bridge is designed in compliance with the 17" Benedetto Archtop Plans. It will also fit any guitar top with a 29" radius. Some final fitting may be required.
