GuitarSlinger Cryocated Long Vibrola
GuitarSlinger has expertly recreated the hard to find parts to restore or upgrade your treasured guitar. Each piece is made to vintage specs to feel right at home on your daily player or new build. Going one step further, each piece is cryogenically frozen or "cryocated" as well.
The freezing process exposes the hardware to extremely low temperatures (-292°F/-180°C) which shortens the relicing process and stabilizes the metal. GuitarSlinger states that the treated hardware has richer harmonics and higher conductivity.

A stunning vibrato available again
Featured on the SG®, 335, Firebird®, and more, this vibrato system (also called a vibrola or "lyre" vibrato) was used extensively by Gibson® in the 1960s. Many were removed over the years and finding suitable replacements has always been a challenge. Remade by GuitarSlinger, this vibrato captures the look and unique performance of the original. Some say the extra weight contributes to the balance and tone of the instrument.
