Unlock the classic Fullerton sound
Fender's main wood from the 1960s onward, Alder is a big part of what we know as the classic Strat and Tele tone. Tonally, Alder produces an extremely resonant guitar or bass, with a focused midrange and bright highs and clear lows.
Alder has a handsome, subdued grain that makes it ideal for both solid and translucent colors. The pale sand color makes a great surface for your custom finish. These are top quality blanks, each is matched, joined, and sanded—ready for you to start your build.

About Alder
Alder (Alnus rubra) is a perfect choice for first builds. It cuts, sands, and glues extremely well. Additionally, as Alder is closed-grained, it does not require filler. It accepts stain well and is very easy to finish.
